Pros
My outdoor feral loves it and figured it out how it works in minutes. Pair them with a remote timer, on/off device is helpful to match outside temp variations.
The pad is soft and comfy. The foam expands back to its natural size. I hope the cover is thick enough to protect the pad from his kneading claws.
I see her come out from her house every morning to greet me. I tried to encourage her to lay down by patting on the mat enthusiastically to show her 'it's nice!
The cord is burly and wrapped in a light metal coil to protect it. It has been left plugged in for the duration of our winter weather. It is wrapped with metal wire to prevent chewing.
Cons
Really dissatisfied. You either have to keep it plugged in or unplugged. The older pad has a thick foam and needs no inflation.
The sherpa fleece cover i received 10/21 is noticeably thinner. After 30 minutes, still not enough warmth to speak of. This is not a cushion heated pad, in order to add cushion, you inflate it which i thought would scare my outdoor cats.

It’s a little more expensive than some brands but we trust it’s safe and know it works great
Its not soft but like a firm air matress texture
