I didn’t think it was working because i thought it would feel warm to my touch it was warm outside when i received it and they told me you can only test it when it gets below freezing that i can put it in my freezer to test it but i didn’t feel like it so i just waited for the first snow and look at that it worked but the customer service called back two different times when i left a message

Its attached to a 100 long outdoor electrical cord which is stiff as it curves up the bird bath pedestal and into the water so the the device doesnt lay perfectly flat in the water

Thats fine as i just put two fistsized rocks along the cord to let it lay flat
