Super smooth transition image sharpness is there and the construction is top notch
Beyond that there is serious vignetting and curved graduated shadows in the frame
I’m using this on the sony 1556 g lens and there is a lot of vignet on the top and bottom right when filming videos

And for 29 on prime day this nd filter was a great deal
• it’s an undeniable value and absolutely worth the money
This is not a bad filter for the price
For the price the variable nd filter is a reasonable choice providing flexibility in managing light exposure

• the storage case that shipped with the lens was far too big for the filter—it just bounces around inside
Competitiveness
Looks almost as good as more expensive solutions
It definitely is higher quality than the neewer brand nd
In fact i frequently found myself adjusting it to the min setting to check composition and then moving back towards max to take the shot

The only drawback the front end is not 67 mm so the original lens cover wont fit

I do know there are limitations to these variable filters but if you work within those limitations you can get some great results

There is a little bit of banding but it is not noticeable unless you are capturing a very bright or highcontrast scene

Only surprise was it won’t work with my lens cap 77mm so i have to keep it in the protective box until i want to use it
