Pros
It's inexpensive and has grooves that allow me to stand/prop up my ipad. The grooves aren't that deep so yes, it can slip to a flat position if you're not careful. It fits my ipad perfectly.
Cons
The slots are thin and the ipad isn't always steady when propped up. The ridges are not deep enough to hold your ipad up. Ipad constantly falls back down when propping up to play games.

However if your ipad home button is at the top instead of the bottom of the case sleep mode does not work

Does not have an auto off on ipad cover flap which i personally prefer
