Pros

Good grip, easy to clean, and easy to remove hair. As long as you use it gently it shouldn't make your dog uncomfortable.

Bought it to use on a sherpa fleece blanket. I have a shiba, she sheds twice a year and each time takes about 6 months. One of my dogs is a shetland sheepdog with a very thick undercoat.

Cons

The bristles are very stiff snd nothing like my old jw slicker brush. My dog hates this brush. She acts like it hurts her. Maybe it is better for different haired dogs.
