There is a plastic version of this toy now but my dog chews away the plastic and cuts his gums so i cant use that version

My toy poodle spends hours happily gnawing and pushing at this toy and she usually refuses to play with dog treat dispensing toys leaving them to the greedy chihuahua or australian shepherd

I will say the rope gets pretty slimy if the treats you put in have any sort of moisture but if that doesnt bother you i bet it just adds more flavorscent to the toy

She is a champion chewer and this toy still shows little sign of wear and tear
