I think there are a lot of positives here but the nuance of being a person of a nonwhite background or simply an individual who is not a part of the systemic mainstream may find some aspects of this book problematic and inapplicable

Teaching them that they must lead and offer different possibilities to those who may not know that they must be strong and yes understand where others come from but hold to values of equality and tolerance may do more for them than telling them that they need to be open to values and ideologies designed to flatten who they are
