This is a beautifully dark and moody ringand its moodier than it appears in the product photos because once its on the hand the sapphire tones appear almost black

Thanks to the way the light reflects off the gunmetal black finish you can see all the details along the ring shank very clearlywhich might otherwise get lost in a ring setting made of brighter metal

If this had been a comfort fit domed inner surface ring it would glide onto your finger

The black plating is a very thin layer over bright copper

The color contrast between the copper and the black is very extreme so the ring will quickly become unwearable

How long it takes to wear off depends on you i have another black plated ring by a completely different company that only lasted two weeks before becoming unwearable
