Unfortunately this thing is hollow in the back so there is nowhere to put the tape

Husband fitted it in minutes he found no problem drilling straight through the holes into the kitchen tiles as there was no easy way to mark the tiles through the fixing holes not big enough to get a marker pen through and nothing less would have marked the tiles anyway
