Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The pictures throughout the book are authenic to the time period. Well written and a real keepsake. The book is worth every dime.

Recipes are delight to reproduce. My husband is thrilled with the old-fashioned jam cake with brown sugar icing. Wonderful recipes for a wide range of skill levels.

The photography is gorgeous, the recipes are expansive and inviting. Ingredients are easy to find and the illustration is well taught.

Cons

Pecan pie isn't an african american invention. It even claims the invention (george crum) of the potato chip. If you want false history, and technically, cultural appropriation, i guess it's the book for you.
