The main portion of the monopod the rod telescopes out from its starting 9 to nearly 40 in length its also very light at only 5 ounces

The bracket for the phone comes with a soft orange clamp in case your phone isnt quite large enough to be held securely

To turn on the monopod theres a small onoff switch on the very bottom right next to the microusb slot for charging
