It takes some practice to get the hang of crimping these little guys. The qiabok has a nice explanation of how to crimp them. Most if not all of the jst kits come with female connectors and male pc board connectors.

I bought the red and blue handled knoweasy jst crimper and the qibaok dupont crimping tool ratcheting crimper
