When really cranking them down i did notice some flex in the bar but it didnt make any difference for my project

But alas they are made in china as the jorgensen brand must have broken under the cost pressure that is demanded by so many consumers

The threaded arm slides back and forth on the rodshaft with the familiar click like it does on the old clamps
