Also good to cap lines to test for ingress. Being able to map out an entire house saved me hours of time while doing installs. Big jobs or old houses where there are lots of old wires that were never removed makes mapping them out a breeze.

Cons

This mapper is cumbersome to handle and the case it comes in does not prevent accidental pressing of button so you end up with a dead battery every time. While the the unit is in the case the * get mashed and drains the battery to nothing. Not worth t... Read More
