It smells like an ocean-scented candle - it's a rich, blue scent that is fabulous in the shower. It has a luxurious feel to it-nice fresh, barely noticeable scent. Texture and lather are great.
This is sold directly from the joico company, so no worries as the whether or not its fake. But for what it advertises, it works. Will purchase from this seller again.

Goodbye joico, your new formula is a disaster. I am a long time joico user and this new formula has ruined it for me.
It's really painful and disheartening. Also, makes my thick wavy hair feel limp and grimy.
