Sometimes it eventually reverses a revolution but i have also chosen to stop the spot lock and reverse it myself as i fear one day its going to rip the cord out of the base or the motor head
If you use the spotlock function and it sits long enough trying to hold a position it has the tendency to wrap the cord around the motor so tightly that you can hear the glossy rubber cover squeaking as it tightens up
