Kinda misadvertized as even the packaging make it look as if the vials would be gitd but theyre bright and clear so they already give a nice reading in low light the white frame glow would help more when you have to level pipes in dark area between ceiling joist for example where you could load the frame with a nearby light before using the level in a dark area
