Pros & Cons
Pros
Apple peeling and coring is so much faster. It peels, slices and cores the apple easily. Great for peeling potatoes, just remember to turn down the corer/slicer.
I like that the wooden handle is well-finished and well protected with varnish. It feels like a very well-made and sturdy tool when in use. It is much better constructed than the one it is replacing.
With a quick little setup, this thing works like a charm. Once set up and adjusted, it is so easy to use and does a fantastic job.
The suction is very strong when used on my laminate countertop. Good suction grip.
Cons
Without the suction cup the peeler is a pain to use, so this is a major drawback. The bolt provided for the handle and the unit itself have incompatible threads. Don't waste your money.
