Pros
It's super easy to set up, it's not heavy, and it covers a good amount of space comfortably. Easy to put up and lightweight. It is lightweight and has a case with a shoulder strap so it is easy to carry.
Where it has exceeded my expectations is the company's customer service. Joe shade is a small family owned company that has been in business for 18 years and i can see why. This is our 3rd joe shade, which is a baby gift.
The umbrella locks in place and can be tilted 45º. Due to condo rules and just being a good neighbor, we only want to put the umbrella up when we're outside using it.
The tripod stand locks in place with a solid screw mechanism. It also tilts and raises and lowers. I always wrap the bag it comes with around the base for weight and whatever else we have lugged along with us to weigh it down.
The clamp is strong and durable.
Cons
The tripod mechanism is clumsy. Slightest breeze knocks it over. This is only with a slight breeze.
The plastic caps that attach the umbrella to the wire frame no longer adhere. The only way to use the umbrella in the stand is to stuff newspaper, cloth or rag into the stand. It also has faded so much, it looks really old.

Other families had a similar umbrella with a tripod base but i’m glad i did a deeper amazon search and found this one
