It goes to sleep if you leave it idle for a while to save battery but there is also a button to turn it off

I like the standard one usb dongle for both devices and the dongle is stored in the keyboard where the battery usually goes but it kind of drops in the hole but it will rattle around and i had to tip it over for it to fall out rather than the usually tight slot in the keyboard or mouse
