It does a great job isolating the viewfinder as one would expect. The cutout in the top allows for flawless functionality of the sensor.
Cons
The rubber eyepiece keeps coming off the square plastic part that attaches to the camera. As it bumps against my hip it comes in contact with this eye cup and the cup falls off.

The only reason i wanted a spare is because i had removed my first one for cleaning and misplaced it before reattaching
Oh and to save some battery juice turn off your lcd “review” option

I prefer photographing through the viewfinder and it is somewhat difficult for me to quick review shots for clarity and sharpness on the back screen without reading glasses

I wouldnt recommend this product for use as a marital aid but as an eyepiece its spot on
