    I was looking for something that would make it easier to get the camera on and ready to use quickly in order to capture moments with our new baby -- this was a good solution for that.

    The plastic on the doors are a bit (literally, just a bit) flexible, but nothing that makes me worried that it will allow anything to happen to the lens (it's quite a distance behind the doors).
