This is awesome. Very knowledgeable man. It is fantastic for this purpose!
They hold up really heavy hardbacks no problem and it adjusts really smoothly. Feels mostly sturdy until you're close to over filling it and then it starts to go a little wonky.
Cons
Too short to hold hardbacks or notebooks. When you stretch it even a little it bows, the dividers fall when a book comes in contact with it.
