We had tried many portable ac units and had to take them all back due to various reasons but mainly because of the noise level

If you do not move the temp sensor this unit will never blow cold air for more than 90 or so seconds before kicking off the compressor and blowing warm air around

Without moving the temp sensor the unit will think it has hit your desired temp while the rest of the room is still freakin 90
