It's easy to figure out which direction it goes by just rubbing your hand across it in all directions, and whichever way gives you the least or no resistance, is the way you want it to go on your bed. I wish it fit a bit tighter though.

The fabric is substantial, a soft plush with just a bit of sheen to it. It’s a warm butterscotch color. I also wish there were more colors, because i fear stains will be more noticable on light colored bedding.

This is not flannel. Not low-pile furry polyester. They collect lint from get go even after washing.
