Pros & Cons
Pros
Use this razor to cut lily pads and lake weeds. It's easier to operate in thick vegetation and works like a charm. You need a large lake rake with float to retrieve all of the cut vegetation and a bottom roller to get your lakebed really nice.
Sharp is an understatement. The blades are very sharp. I am very pleased with the sheath that protect the blades. It is a great protector.
It is easy. It's not much heavier than a broomstick and easy to handle.
This * tool is terrific. The sharpening tool is awesome.
Cons
Still not a word from the seller as of 05/04/2023.
After the handle coming off, putting duct tape all over it, cracking the blade covers, etc. Literally almost bailed and returned.
Highlights
Quality
Bottom line i was very impressed with the job this did and wouldnt hesitate recommending it to anyone
It does a great job with the attached rope
Be careful to keep the blade protectors in place and use care with the blades
In the picture you can see an area i cleared in about 20 minutes of tossing and jerking it back with the rope
Price
I think the price is a little excessive but the weed razor does work
Packaging/appearance
Was almost useless on a thick infestation of reeds
Competitiveness
It is better than the 3000 a professional wanted to charge me to clear the grass
