The coin slot accepts any type of coin but there is also an option to remove the mechanism to use it without coins which i greatly prefer

There is a tiny bag of beans included with the machine but after you pour them into the machine you cant even see them because there are so few of them they do not even rise above the metal base to be seen through the glass
