Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for -- brighter, safer, and pure white light. Very easy to install. For my 2013 Lexus ES 350, I simply snapped out the round retaining clips that held on the under-trunk liner to expose the bulb sockets. I twisted the old lamp sockets counter-clockwise to remove them from the light assembly, pulled the old dull-yellow 921 bulbs straight out, then using plastic gloves I inserted the JDM Astar LED bulbs into the sockets -- slides straight in, reinserted the socket back into the assembly by a 1/8 turn clockwise, tested the lights, and finally secured the trunk liner by reinserting the black snaps. Total time -- about 15 minutes. To ensure you remove the trim retaining clips/snaps I strongly suggest you order a trim removal kit -- it will make any light bulb replacement so much easier and you won't damage the appearance of your car. I personally use Maxtivx 11pc Trim Removal Tool Kit from Amazon. It's inexpensive and offers more tool options than other kits on the market. Back to the backup lights: Highly recommended. Time will tell if the industry-wide hype about LEDs lasting a long time will live up to their predictions. But so far I highly recommend these.
