Pros

You want the rx cable to be on the board's tx pin and vice versa. There are pins inside that you can use for a console connection. Removal of the blue case is easiest near where the black cord enters the case.

Worked right off the bat. Worked flawlessly. Great for using putty.

A few caveats. Kinda sketchy but never had any issues. Feels a little cheaply made, but the cable worked for me.

Used this cable to resurrect my router after a bad firmware flash. Works with linksys ea6200 serial port and windows 10. Followed youtube video instructions to unbrick linksys wrt32x router.

As usual with this type of product, specifications are scarce and documentation not supplied. The pl2303 input claims it is 5v tolerant. The description contradicts this and says it uses 3.
