Perhaps i misunderstood the specs and the cable does not support my connection after all. Just get something else. It did give me the expected speeds for a couple of months before it started giving out a few weeks ago.

These cables arent anything special except that theyre flat so you actually have less ability to route them cleanly if theres any corners that would require them to bend on the edge
