This is a more cost effective alternative to the almost identical versions that jasco manufactures to be sold under the ge and honeywell brands with two drawbacks 1 this is zwave not zwave plus so it has less range and is a fraction slower and 2 this one doesnt come with a 3inch piece of white wire for the neutral connection

Its a completely unnecessary inconvenience that cant be saving jasco any meaningful amount of money and frankly ive purchased ge versions instead a couple of times when the price difference wasnt quite as much just so i wouldnt have to deal with the inconvenience so any savings from skimping on a tiny piece of wire is being lost due to lost sales

It is not a zwave plus and thus is not quite as robust in functionality

I attempted to use this as a pseudo switch to control smart bulbs but the response time was not fast enough for that purpose

If you need faster response times consider a zwave plus or zigbee device
