Pros
It has a great bobbin system, so easy to load and you can always see how much bobbin thread you have left. This is also the easiest, quickest machine to thread that i have had yet. It's stiff at first, but it does loosen up after a bit.
The janome treadle fits the hinges on my singer treadle table perfectly. It's too bad there are not new bases available for sale. But with the janome i get the benefit of a warranty.

It does require an old style treadle table make sure the treadle mechanism is functional i found one at an estate sale for 75

You will need the old fashion treadle operated table for your source of power it does not use electricity and the treadle table does not come with it
