You can also use them at home a few hours before bed to help with insomnia as the yellow lenses block the blue light that breaks down melatonin

Nature didnt know wed invent light bulbs campfires and candles emit a mostly yellowish light so those dont seem to trigger a problem to the extent of blue and white lights like tvs and light bulbs
