There was a chemical odor. Pretty much lit on fire immediately and was useless after 5 min and had to scrap the salmon.

We are using the boards to make smoked bourbons since they are very thin they burn quicker than other boards we have used

I soaked these for 2 hours and then slightly brushed butter on the boards just in case the fish stuck to them
