The case is a bit bigger than that of the basstop allowing for more airflow. This also has both cutouts for the rear switch vents, where the official dock has 1, and a lot of other 3rd party docks have none. This is not my favorite of my two dock case... Read More
It's super easy to put together. Honesty it's really good! Would definitely recommend it for portability though.
Everything fits aligns correctly and fits snugly with no rattling. Pretty straight foward, needs better instructions and pre threaded holes. Comes with all necessary screwdrivers and plenty of screws.
The instructions are pretty good. Removing the main board from the official dock isn't very difficult, but can be time consuming.
Cons
The dock is tv mode only when the charger is connected. There's no way to switch it over to tabletop mode, despite a picture that shows the switch in tabletop mode while it's sitting in the dock.

It was a bit of hassle to install the led light module but you have to work at the soldering points to make it slide into the slot

My only two gripes is that the circuit board pins to hold the screws were waaay too tight i had to screw and unscrew just to make the hole big enough

Its not like the wii u where you can roll the gamepad in place or like the dock itself where the charger has a springloaded platform

If you go to the youtube channel of that yt tutorial find the 1st video of the guide which is shorter than the one included

Look up an official teardown of the official dock as well to make sure you do it right

Now on to the basstopthis case has a smaller form factor and only vents in the back of it for any sort of air flow will have to see if this causes an issue in the future

There is no spot for the green light several people on youtube have cut into it to fit it in others have just ignored it
