For the record the device was incompatible with my tv and never worked correctly but customer service went above and beyond by sending me a replacement to test and then offering to replace with a different type of switcher all together

Also for potential buyers the unit did work correctly when i tested it on a different tv so it was a compatibility issue between the switcher and my tv

However both suffered from picture shifting up and to the left when plugged in through this device
