The only spray i found that kills on contact like says

This is what causes it to cost more than water based products but its what you want for that initial knockdown of a major problem

If this is an issue buy the waterbased version i had no discoloration with that but i bought oilbased this time because it has a higher percentage of kill in it

The only other problem was the sprayer broke after a couple applications but with that i just got a little hand held sprayer
