Pros
The key to easy assembly is to make sure that all the dowels bottom out in their holes. Bon casier, facile à assembler. Just make sure to use a hammer or mallet when assembling.
Cons
Some of the holes are too wide, so the dowels slide in and out with no resistance. Others appear to either be too tight or too shallow, resulting in uneven rows. It's a shame because i love the flexibility that the modular design enables.

It is a bit tricky and following the instructions is a good idea assemble each row separately and then put them together at the end

I would hammer a row together think i had hammered each dowel into the hole correctly then put together with another row and everything would be a bit crooked

You then have to hammer the completed structure on all sides to fit everything into its final level shape

If i was storing out in the open i would have sanded some of the edges more

I think the company could pay more attention to the sanding of the final product but it is mostly fixable at home
