I wash my pillowcases a couple of times a week hang dry which tends to make them not last as long

Hand washed once in cold waterin woolite and line dried not as silky soft after but also didn’t iron it which may have helped

One thing that is a bit of a down side is that you have to be careful with the case while washing and using it because it’s a bit delicate
