The light might be too bright if the target is too close for example if the camera is laying on the wall and you target to look further

What you get on this case is the wall too bright and the rest of the image further too dark to be able to see

Then you might want to redirect your camera and you will find out that the cable is too flexible and will not be hard enough to push the camera end to the direction you want to point

If your objective is to investigate places inside of the wall then get like a wire fishing rod to guide your camera to where you want to point

The camera cable will not help you for that

The cable is long and as long as you download the app for the camera this should work fine
