This tool crimps the 10 ga wire perfectly and securely. Hexagonal crimps are better than square crimps, especially for circular connections. This solves the problem of using stranded wire with compression screw terminals.

Makes sense, even if not backed by fact. Couldn't be any easier. That's why i paid a lil extra. Don't use it daily, but almost. No other way of crimping is acceptable.

Cons

Fails to except 10awg ferrules as advertised. As measured with my calipers, the max opening is just a hair under 5mm. Very tiny hole, nothing i have is small enough to be crimped.

All ferules are not the same and all i can find are cheap chinese ones so your mileage will vary wildly

This crimper does as good or better than the higher dollar crimpers ive been using
