Pros

I love that this trash bin is spacious, has wheels and looks amazing! The instructions say that it usually opens about 10,000 times on the battery option. A whole lot easier to wave your hand or arm in front vs hit a pedal, imho.

Some nooks and crannies make cleaning a chore. This can has a sleek design, holds more and no batteries are needed.

The 18 gallon is shorter and thus, blends in better with kitchen decor. The 23 gallon is taller. Sometimes we go a full week on one garbage bag, as we now buy larger bags to fit this larger garbage can.

Cons

There is no contacting anyone who can explain what has gone wrong. The whole process screams that this is a company who didn't fully think through their website.

The mechanism/hinge that lifts the lid broke. Without the automatic lid, the trash bin is terrible to use.
