I have been studying italian on my phone with an app and have taken a couple italian courses some years back

I especially like the short stories for two reasons 1 i get the satisfaction of completing an entire story that isnt the length of an entire book and 2 the stories are intentionally varied so you are more likely to find some you really enjoy

I read each story multiple times and usually around the third time through the whole of the story would suddenly become clear
