You can fit perhaps a few dollars a little mirror metro card if you live in nyc or anything else thats small and thin

I use two ice packs in the bag and it stays inside all day so it works for her preschool but i dont think it has enough insulation to go outside or in really warm weather for very long the inside is just a thin lining of silver insulation material
