You can wear them indoors or out although wearing them outside on a continual basis may damage the bottom

Yes as another reviewer wrote at some point the toe will thin or get a hole but they are terry slippers not shoes

These launder well but i would avoid putting them into the dryer because of the sole material

I wouldnt have bet on a size smaller those wouldnt have fit and no longer comfortable

I am a size 10 in every shoe i bought 1112 xxl and they fit like size 10
