Pros

The machine comes with a tablet and a packet of the cleaning crystals. They come out perfectly clean and no oder. I meticulously scan them occasionally and they stay clean. My cleaner of choice recommends 15 minutes(using their low grade appliance).

I am amazed at what this has done for my retainer. It keeps them odor-free and prevents plaque/calculus buildup. Much cheaper than new retainers or worse, braces again because the retainers aren't being worn.

This sonic denture cleaner gets your denture clean as new! But even a denture tablet or 1/2 tsp baking soda cleans well also. My son refills with a small 3 oz bathroom cup which is easier than running a faucet under.

Cons

Light turns on and off, with no cleaning. Off button stops working, then it randomly turns on, and finally it stops turning on.

I was hesitant and expected that this would be a gaget that i would need to return

I popped my retainers in without brushing them or rinsing them and i ran it for two cycles which is a few minutes with an efferdent tablet
