The irwin pliers look and feel like a tool, solid, rugged and simple, not a shiny toy. Using these mostly as hex pliers. Can usually find a single in a part/tool store for about the same cost.

Sharp teeth, easy speedy adjustment, stays in position i. Easy to adjust. Push button adjustability is a winner. Slide the jaw down.

Cons

They work ok, but the locking mechanism for the adjustable jaw takes two hands to operate. Any pair of pliers that have their teeth gum up after turning a bolt are junk.
