It turns on when you twist the timer. It keeps frying till it counts down. For me, this goes into another part of my house on top of a mini fridge.

It's portable and convenient. Impressive is the amount that this holds for its size. More compact than some.

No temperature control. Had to contact support to find factory preset temperature. The controls on it are archaic dials. Maybe it works for those who aren't impatient.
