Im sure there is a complex algorithm that determines the route roomba takes but the roomba does not appear to possess any methodology whatsoever

That said roomba performs excellent on hard floors good on carpets but poorly on dense carpets with chairs on them

When under a chair and on my dense hemp rug roomba will sometimes go into rbsod repetitive bumping spin of death

Rbsod occurs when roomba cant find its way out from under a piece of furniture and will repeatedly bump into the furniture until the battery dies or until it shuts down and calls for help
