Iq router fixed an issue that bothered me for months. Complaint i wish this router automatically applied security patches. Iq customer service was awesome.
In a larger home, this works great with a wi-fi mesh system in bridge mode to it, like eeros. My single-floor 1200 sq ft condo is well-covered but any larger and you will need an access point. Where we live the only option we have is satellite or dsl.... Read More
Iqrouter takes some time to find the best configuration for your network. There are tests that the router runs on your line to configure the settings. Some network professionals can tweak settings of other routers to obtain the same results.
Cons
This product is a complete waste of time and money, unless your goal is to downgrade your internet service. Good if you live where there is nothing but dsl and you have very limited bandwidth. Device locks up almost daily, it's usually the wifi module... Read More

Quality
With the decos my wifi speeds exceed 130mbps
Still early days but highly recommended especially based on our experience with the v2 model
I couldnt even stream videos in 720p in my bedroom with the old router without frequent buffering
I went from an f on bufferbloat and quality to an a and a respectively by switching to the iqrouter v3
Price
Dslreports speedtest is a great way to test your bufferbloat and internet access performance

The hardest part of the setup was configuring my windstream provided arris dg2460 to allow the iqrouter to sit in the dmz

I am also using the iqrouter with a tplink deco whole home mesh wifi system with units
I started with v1 when i had a dsl line with 5mbps service
Bufferbloat went from 100ms download and 100ms upload down to 0ms download and 2ms upload on waveforms bufferbloat test
With my iqrouter router v2 the top download speed was roughly 195mbps with our 300mbps service
